Our Oil
Our Oil, Explained

We use organic high-oleic sunflower oil. Here’s why :

What It Is

High-oleic sunflower oil is naturally higher in monounsaturated fats — the same type of fat found in olive oil — chosen for clean flavor and stability. It’s stable at high heat. It has a clean, neutral flavor. And it allows the potato and seasoning to shine.

Why We Chose It

High-oleic sunflower oil is structurally similar to olive and avocado oil — meaning it’s rich in monounsaturated fat and lower in polyunsaturated omega-6 fats than conventional sunflower oil.

We chose organic high-oleic sunflower oil because it:

• Supports a crisp texture
• Has a neutral taste
• Aligns with our organic standards

We prioritize ingredient clarity and product performance. This oil supports both.

A Note on “Seed Oils”

Not all oils are the same.

High-oleic sunflower oil is compositionally different from standard industrial seed oils often discussed online.

It is widely used in natural and organic food production because of its stability and clean flavour profile.

We believe in informed choices and transparent sourcing.
