Our Story
learn About HUMBLE CHIPS
After years working in the snack food industry, Alicia and Jeff kept seeing the same thing:
Chips made cheaply. Potatoes grown with heavy pesticide use. Ingredients that didn’t need to be there.
They knew it could be done differently. So they built Humble. From the beginning, the goal was simple: Make a chip that felt as good as it tasted — starting with organic potatoes and clear, upfront ingredients.
Jeff and their son Wilder have both been chief taste testers from the beginning. One brings enthusiasm. The other brings standards.
If it passes both, it makes it into the bag.
Rethinking the Details
At Humble, we believe good ingredients should extend beyond the chip itself. Our first packaging was fully compostable — an ambitious start and an important learning experience.
Today, we operate with plastic-negative packaging. Through our partnership with rePurpose Global, we fund verified plastic recovery projects.
For every bag we produce, we help remove twice as much plastic from the environment as we use in our packaging.
The recovered plastic is repurposed into eco-bricks used to build schools, housing, and other community structures. It’s our way of making sure our packaging gives back more than it takes.
We’re proud of the progress — and committed to improving every step of the way.
Organic. Light. Crispy.
Why Humble ?
Packaging That Gives Back
Our responsibility doesn’t stop at the ingredient list. Through our partnership with rePurpose Global, we fund verified plastic recovery projects.
For every bag we produce, we help remove twice as much plastic from the environment as we use in our packaging. The recovered plastic is repurposed into eco-bricks used to build schools, housing, and more.
It’s one more way we try to build better — beyond the chip.
